I really like this chair but the only downside was the initial set up. It took me a while to figure out how to put the chair together because the actual chair you hook on to the legs were super hard to apply. I didn't realize how much strength I needed to pull it over the bars. I was scared I would rip it. Once I got the chair together it was so comfortable. I really like how small it is when you close it up. I left it in my trunk so that I can use it whenever I decide to go on a spontaneous trip somewhere and there's no chairs. I really love it!

Any of my friends who have these types of chairs - from the highest end to the Walmart specials - they envy mine, and I like mine best too! They have extra features like a way to hang the carry bag off the chair and use it for sensible storage, platforms for sandy or rocky terrain (store in the bag), mesh for lighter weight and coolness, velcro straps to keep it more together when bagging it, and a nice shoulder strap for carrying. Yeah, you don't want to fall down into these chairs, but they've held 215lb friends with no problem, and squirrely little me. Great camp, tailgate and concert chair.

I like it. Simple as that. It's a third of the price of the Helinox Zero chairs I've seen online... but it seems to work great so far. I am a pretty small dude, so the size is not an issue, but it seems pretty sturdy for such a small and compact chair. Last camping trip we got attacked by wasps, so we actually set up two of these chairs in the minivan and ate in there. It worked out quite well. I really like these chairs for the price. As I said, I'm not a huge dude, so I can't tell you how they would accommodate a 6'2" 200lb person... but they are great for us!

I originally bought a "Pacific Gear" Beach Chair, It only lasted me 3 days before warping and twisting into a sad mess. I thought this item was stolen when it said: "Delivered". This chair is so portable, and mobile, the mailman had placed it in my ****ing mailbox. Absolutely mental! I open a small paper package to expose a yellow shower bag (I picked the yellow chair) I mean, this bag is like maybe 6 inches wide, and a little over a foot long, and inside a mess of metal legs and brackets. I remove the chair from this small carrying case, and simply just shake all the pieces a bit and it assembles itself. It feels a little wobbly but it's just DURABLE, I mean, I'm a big boy, this is like barely a 2-pound char. Its SO perfect, and It's 100x more than I expected 100/100 Satisfaction.

Love this chair for being a lightweight and small size. Great for backpacking and for the campfire. Found that it sinks easily in soft ground, but found a fix for it. For less than $10 at the hardware store created better legs for the product. The greater surface area allows for better support and won't sink into soft ground as easily. Also, these legs can fit in the stuff sack when broken down. Overall love this product!

So, I needed a chair which is ultralight and comfortable at the same time. I was torn between this one and helinox chair zero. But the price factor encouraged me to try this one. On receiving, I was pleasantly surprised. The reviews are indeed true as this is indeed a mighty ultraportable beast. Fits so easily in the backpack, easy to set up, and yet so useful and comfortable. Then mesh back did wonder in making your butt not soak up after two hours in sweat on continuous usage.

Overall its a thumbs up from me

I bought this chair for my wife to use on a backpacking trip at the end of September. I currently own a chair like this already. I know a lot of the ultralight guys will not bother adding the extra weight but for me, a chair is one of the only luxury items I bring on a trip. Since this is her first trip I figured she should have something that makes life a little more comfortable out there.

Showed my wife how to set it up and she is very happy with how she sits in it. Comfortable and easy to put away quickly. Material is sturdy and it seems well built.

Glad I made this purchase and it will be one of the most used items around camp in a few weeks!

    Would recommend!

I snagged this on a deal right before I went on a four-day backpacking trip. I just needed it to last for that and it did. It weighs just under two pounds, so there are lighter ones out there, but for this price, it was perfect for what I needed it to be. I'm 160lbs and while it was a bit unsteady, it held up just fine. I was able to sit in the chair and elevate my feet on a picnic table, which, without a chair, I really could not do. Depending on how I sat, I had to curve my shoulders in, so I'm not sure how it would work for a man. I'm a woman with somewhat wide shoulders, however. Don't expect luxury out of this chair, but if you need something basic and affordable when you're "roughing it" it will work just fine.

We have a house in the Catskills and are always hanging out in the yard, grassy field, or having bonfires. I was looking for a lighter alternative to dragging around a lawn chair and this one seemed like a good fit.

I now have three of these, my oldest being three years old. I'm completely obsessed. They pack up small, are ultra-light and super sturdy. I can't say I'm the heaviest but I'm also not delicate with these. Everyone who sees them/uses them loves them as well and my friends have also started getting these. I tried a slightly different one (higher back) from another brand when I was "stocking up" and the quality just kinda sucked. I returned it immediately and will stick with the trusty Yarnobsession ones.
