This is an amazing dog wheelchair and the price is great. My beautiful girl started dragging her backend a couple months back. Our vet told us that she's an older dog and it was arthritis and gave us pain meds. He said she needs to walk as much as she can before we start looking at handicapped wheels. When she started having problems getting up and just started dragging herself across the room it was time to start looking. This adjustable dog wheelchair has got her on her feet and she's moving. Thank you for giving us more time with our sweet girl.

I know shipping will vary based on location, but my order arrived five days sooner than the earliest projected date I was given, which was exciting. I ordered the size for taller small dogs. This resulted in me being sent the pre-packaged normal kit with the larger wheels included in an additional bag. So I have both sizes of wheels! Very cool, since my dog was kind of in between sizes due to his long legs. No matter what, I can easily adjust this frame and wheels to fit him. Very happy. The assembly was pretty simple. Ive just finished Guss maiden voyage outside to potty (he DID go while in the chair!! Happy day!!), and Im still making small adjustments, but I think this will work out fantastic, once he accepts his fate. Hes obviously a tad annoyed with the change.

This saved my dog and made him so happy! My little buddy was recently diagnosed with IVDD. He is getting laser therapy for his back and on medicine. He gets around great with this wheelchair and can play ball! This is a great value for the money and so much cheaper than other wheelchairs I looked at. I cried when he started using this! He seemed so happy. Thank you for a great product!

I was so impressed with this purchase. It is pretty easy to get on once put together and very customizable. Moni went paralyzed suddenly and she was so tired of not being as mobile and took to this very quickly... then, anti inflammatory meds helped her to regain most of her mobility in a couple of weeks... however we have so much comfort knowing we have this for next time. Even though she wasn't fully used to it, she wanted in it. And even found a way to take a nap in it haha! We could not be happier with this purchase!

My 10 year old German Shepard dog has a degenerative spinal cord condition that has caused him to completely lose the use of his hind quarters. He has always been very active and is still perfectly healthy otherwise so I needed a way to keep him moving and interested in life. The Best Friend Mobility Wheelchair is the perfect solution. He loves it and is able to get the exercise he needs. It was fairly easy to assemble and adjust. There is a video on YouTube if you need help. It did take a little effort to train my dog to use it. It is not natural for a dog to pull with their front legs as they usually push with their hind legs. I stood a short distance in front of him and used treats and the come command to get him to come to me. Once he figured out how to propel himself that was all that was needed. I found a crushed gravel trail to take him for walks and most the time his gait is a fast trot. I attach the leash to the front of the frame and pull a little to help him get up hills of any size. I like the way his hind legs are suspended by bungee cords that allow him to swing his legs as if using them. I have also noticed that he uses the opportunity to urinate while standing. I don't think he is urinating as well when not in the Wheelchair. This product has vastly improved the quality of my dogs life.

I have an aging wire-haired fox terrier with degenerative myelopathy, and her hind legs have weakened to the point that she can barely walk. We just got the wheelchair, but I was impressed with its sturdiness and how it can be adjusted easily to the right width, height, and length. My dog is still getting used to it, -- and right now moves when enticed by treats - but she seems to be adapting well and figuring it out. I believe it will give her continued independence in movement as her legs continue to weaken. Without a product like this. I am not sure we had any other alternatives for her.

Our 13 year old 82 lb female German Shepherd dog has dealt with a weakened rear end from Spondylosis of the spine for years. Otherwise, she is very alert. We decided to try the Walkin' Wheels Dog Wheelchair and she is so glad we did. At first we just ordered the large chair and while the included sling was working for her, we quickly decided to also get her the Walkin' Lift Rear Dog Harness too. It is more comfortable for her and it is easier to get her into the wheelchair too. We are happy to say she took to this new mobility from the beginning. After a few seconds of wanting to back up, we encouraged her to move forward. Following the instructions, we kept her first walk to a minute and provided lots of praise. Every morning we've gone a little bit further pausing whenever she wanted to rest. This morning she finished her 5th day of walking and she probably could have kept going but we eventually turned her around so she had enough energy to make it home on her own. Once home she heads right for the gate to show off her ride to our other 2 German Shepherds. This new found mobility has really improved her mood and attentiveness. So far, she has been able to pee in the wheelchair with no mess. We only use the wheelchair to take her for a formal walk and so far, we've not left her in the Rear Dog Harness. For our family, this has been a great purchase.
