Cascading Lace Crochet Shawl Pattern

Please follow, like & share!

The Cascading Lace Crochet Shawl Pattern is one of my all-time favorites! When I made this piece it was because I wanted a shawl that wasn’t bulky, but that was warm. The yarn is perfect! It’s a light acrylic yarn that has beautiful drape which allows for you to wear this wide with a fancy outfit or wrapped around the neck with a coat.

It doesn’t matter how you wear it, it’s always a beautiful soft piece to accent your outfit.

Notes:

  • This pattern can be done with any light yarn (3) of your choice. If done with a thicker yarn the results will look and feel less lacy.
  • This pattern is a repeat pattern. Once you get rows 1-9 perfectly, just follow the row numbering to get the cascading look of the pattern.
  • The edging will vary depending on how evenly you’ve worked the stitches along the rough side of the pattern. To make sure the edging looks even try to end with 9 dc in the corner stitches on the last round of the edging.
